Illustrations 2019
These are the illustrations that defined my 2019 which was the year I first began drawing digitally. The first one I made for an event held by Colectivo Consonantes, in which all participants of the exhibition based their piece off a quote by a woman designer who was interviewed by the collective with the purpose of bringing awareness to the creative community of how women are perceived within the field. The second one was merely based on an idea of mine, and it's purely visual, but I was coming to terms with the aesthetic I wanted to keep producing. The third one I made with the intention of portraying the magic we hold within us and the magic the universe around us has. And lastly, the fourth one I made at the end of the year, this illustration was a vessel for the emotions I was going through as the year and decade were coming to an end.
